In BlueberryCMS Page Templates are the overall HTML structure that controls the layout that is wrapped around the {bb_webpagecontent}
tag, which contains the specific Web Page content.
In this article we will walk through the steps to create a Page Template.
- Login to your Website Portal.
- Navigate to Content > Design > Page Templates in the sidebar menu.
- Click green "New Template" button at the top.
- Under the General tab, start by typing in a Template Name and then pick from the options below:
- Enabled when checked displays the Page Template as a available option to users when creating a Web Page.
- Default Template when checked applies the Page Template to all Web Pages when no specific template is selected.
- Printer View is the Page Template used when a user physically prints the page.
- Blog Template when checked will use the Page Template for the Blog Posts Detail page it's assigned to. You can select this Page Template when creating a new Blog.
- Click the "Template HTML" tab. Here you can enter any HTML that you want to wrap around the content on the Web Page(s) assigned this Page Template.
- Click "Save" to save your current work and continue editing the template; Click "Save & Close" if you are finished editing your Page Template; or Click "Cancel" to discard the Page Template and return back to the Page Template list.
